About Daniel Snyder Photographer

I have been in business as a commercial photographer in downtown Tucson now since 1988 and continue to appreciate Tucson and its environs more each day. With a downtown 2400 sq foot warehouse studio as a base camp I find much of my work is shot on location in the Tucson area and around Arizona. I lead an active life in both work and play and enjoy mountain biking, hiking. and exploring.

My early work was mostly a mix color nature/landscape and black & white street photography. In my late teens I carried a Leica M3 camera with me everywhere and shot everything I came across. Spent a lot of time in a b&w darkroom and printed all my own b&w work for many years. Lived in Europe for a year after high school and upon returning studied Shotokai Karate and Yoga with Jean Pierre Marquez and found myself teaching Martial Arts and Yoga in Tucson in the early 1980s.

I have studied with and assisted many other excellent photographers, among them Michel Compte & Robert Whitman. and worked as a volunteer at the Center for Creative Photography early in my career. My best teacher has been 20 years of experience shooting..... the interesting work of shooting editorial, advertising and event photography on demand for a variety of purposes and clients.

This diverse photography biz encompasses people photography including headshots, portraits and business portraits, architectural photography and product photography. We offer a full service studio, great staff and CREATIVE energy and ideas to make great images.
